Alva Stockholm was founded by Ida Izumi Ellesson based in Stockholm, Sweden. With a passion for classic, timeless, and feminine fashion, Ida created the brand to reflect her belief that less is more —both in style and in the way we consume. Her clothing philosophy is rooted in three principles: invest in quality over quantity, choose pieces that stand the test of time, and care for your garments so they last.
The founder
Ida holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Supply Chain Management and brings a strong professional background in sales, strategy, business development, and purchasing. With basic knowledge of design, patternmaking, and sewing, she combines creative vision and operational knowledge.
Her network contains fashion and lifestyle brands—ranging from apparel and swimwear to bags and accessories— as well as a network of experts in branding, graphic design, e-commerce, photography and PR.
